Hurricanes Sports empowers children aged 5-17 through baseball, focusing on character development, teamwork, and individual growth. Our structured program caters to all skill levels, emphasizing skill development, strategic understanding, and a passion for the game.

As a new team this fall, the Hurricanes 11U has really come together to form a strong unit. With Coach Jimmy at the helm, this team is going to continue to get stronger while also being great role models to the younger athletes. Congratulations to our new 11U players!

Congratulations to our new 9U athletes! If you know anything about travel ball you know that 9U is the age group where you make the transition from coach pitch to kid pitch. These boys worked so hard this fall to make that critical transition. Under Coach Mitch’s guidance this team will be one to watch out for!

These boys already have one season under their belt where they ended up playing up an age group anyway. These kids are monster baseball players and great friends! Can’t wait to see where Coach Chris brings them this spring. 😈

Big congrats to our 8U 🌀Hurricanes 🌀 Finalists! We ended our season at the USSSA Santa Slam in Fort Walton Beach this weekend. These boys showed up to play and kept high energy through the very last pitch. We are so proud of our boys, and thankful for the coaches and parents for all that they do!

🌀 The 8u Hurricanes came up short in the USSSA Publix Park Belt Battle this weekend, but our boys kept a positive attitude and worked hard through it all. 🌀
Lincoln and Aubry showed out in non-primary positions. Owen was consistent at bat and Renley made some great plays in his 2nd base position! 😈⚾️🌀

🌀9U Liberty County Hurricanes battled it out this weekend at the USSSA Publix Park Belt Battle 💪🏼

They fell short by 1 run fighting to make it to the championship, going into two rounds of a Texas Tie Breaker 😵‍💫 They meant business & refused to go down without a fight!

⚾️ Shout out to Jaymon Wolff #16 for receiving the MVP AWARD for killing it in the outfield & at bat!

🌀⚾️9U Liberty County - Cottonwood, AL Tournament⚾️🌀

🏆Championship Runner Up🏆
Liberty County boys came to play again today & made it to the championship! Winning their first game 9-7 in overtime, to fighting hard in the second game & earning their runner up medals (5-13) 🏅

We are so proud of all of their hard work this weekend! 💪🏼 It’s great to be a hurricane! 🌀⚾️

Liberty County 9u Hurricanes showed up & showed out today! 👏🏼👏🏼 These boys came to play & won both games, 9-5 & 9-8! 🤩

Wish the boys luck for tomorrow when they go back to fight for the championship ring! 🏆

Shoutout to Owen on our 8u 🌀 team for being recognized as MVP this weekend! Owen is a talented 1st baseman who is able to show out even when placed in a non-primary position on the field. He helped bring in a Championship win for his team!

🌀⚾️ 10U Finalists! ⚾️🌀

Congratulations to our 10U team for making it to the finals in the USSSA Elite Select Super Regional NIT in Ft. Walton, FL! They went 2-0 on Saturday winning their games 15-0 and 19-2 but came up short 2 runs in the championship. Baseball is a tough game of mind over matter!

Great job boys!!! Spring is coming. 😈

Congratulations to our 8U team for winning the USSSA Elite Select Super Regional NIT in Ft. Walton, FL!! We are so proud of the hard work, determination and sportsmanship these boys showed this weekend!!

🌀⚾️ 8U Sportsmanship!! ⚾️🌀

In a first for us the 8U team received a compliment from the umpire in the form of a game ball for great sportsmanship! These boys were not only hyping up their own team mates, they were congratulating and encouraging the other team!

The went 2-0 at the USSSA Elite Select Super Regional NIT in Ft. Walton, FL. Their accolades included 2 home runs, doubles plays, great hitting and fielding, but MOST importantly, excellent sportsmanship! Great job boys!!

Player Shoutout: Reid Scott

Reid, our first 9u MVP, absolutely dominated last weekend! This was his first kid pitch tournament, and he threw an incredible 72 pitches over the weekend. Not only did he shine on the mound, but he also made multiple defensive plays and was an outstanding teammate.

Reid's quiet demeanor often surprises his coaches, so they're always making him speak in the huddle. When asked about his favorite part of the weekend, he didn't mention his own stellar performance. Instead, he praised his teammate, Kaysen, for a sliding catch. This selfless act shows his true character and dedication to the team.

Reid, you're going to be such an amazing big brother and you're such an inspiration to us all. Your hard work and positive attitude make you a valuable member of the 🌀 Hurricanes 🌀 family. We can't wait to see what you accomplish in the future!

The 8U 🌀 played their hearts out at the USSSA Okaloosa County NIT this weekend. Congrats to our incredibly talented short stop, Nash for being recognized as our MVP—and to our determined catcher, Kaige with his game ball for impressive consistency at bat! ⚾️💜🌀 We are proud of all our boys!
